With this Sunday being the last Sunday in February, which is also Black History Month we had a special service presented by our Generation 2000 members. Besides their special presentation and musical selections that included a solo by Ms. Tulani Brackett, our services were presided over by Reverend Dr. David Daniels. Reverend Daniels' wanted to talk to us about what we as a organization is providing to feed the hunger of our members in a way to encourage growth in the church. Previous generations have had slavery and civil rights as causes to focus on to maintain direction in our institutions and churches. In the 21st century what are we giving to our members particularly our young member to cause them to come to the church for meaning. Dr. Daniels endeavors to answer that question with his sermon this week. Thanks to everyone listening to our podcast. Please drop us a Note at fbcpreacher@fbcpreacher.com or submit your comments here on the web page about anything you might hear in this ministry. We enjoy hearing your comments about our ministry or anything you might think of to improve this ministry. Again thank you all for listening and have a blessed week from the pastoral and technical staff at First Baptist Church of Chicago. |
